Salted Caramel Frappuccino

Salted Caramel Frappuccino

A frappuccino… Not like at Starbucks. No… Much better than Starbucks!

The frappuccino is a small pleasure that we agree on a hot summer afternoon. It’s delicious and it’s also very easy to prepare at home.

You will need coffee. For this, the best is to use cold brewed coffee. The recipe is here. Cold brewed, this coffee is truly delicious. The aromas are perfectly preserved and very concentrated. This allows you to have a good taste of coffee after adding all the other ingredients.
You will still need vanilla ice cream, milk, ice cubes and salted butter caramel. Mix it all together and serve with whipped cream.

You tell me the news!

Salted Caramel Frappuccino:

150ml cold brewed coffee (here)
150ml milk
2 scoops of vanilla ice cream
2 tbsp salted butter caramel (here)
1 glass of ice cubes
300 ml full cream
1 tbsp icing sugar

For the whipped cream, mix the cream and the icing sugar.
Pour into a siphon while filtering.
Put a gas cartridge, shake and keep cool.

Start by mixing the ice cubes. I use my Thermomix and it’s terribly effective!

Add coffee, milk, ice cream, caramel and mix everything.
Pour into glasses (2 large, 3 medium or 4 small…it’s up to you!).
Cover with whipped cream;
Decorate with caramel drippings.

Enjoy straight away.

To finish: instead of salted butter caramel, you can also use dulce de leche. The real recipe is here.

You will have some whipped cream left over to make again or for another preparation.

Surprise your guests by offering a Frappuccino as a dessert. They will love it!
