With the heat it’s doing right now, we agree, we’ll wait a little longer before turning the oven back on. We will continue to have fun, with simple and fresh desserts. The panna cotta is ideal!
It only takes a few minutes to prepare and it is delicious every time.
I had never tried making it with chocolate before. And that’s a shame, because it’s delicious. Really tasty !
To counterbalance the sweetness of the milk chocolate, I chose to serve my small panna cotta with passion fruit. It’s perfect.
Panna cotta with milk chocolate and passion fruit:
300 g full cream
200g whole milk
20g sugar
100g milk chocolate
2 sheets of gelatin (4 g)
2 passion fruit
Soak the gelatin sheets in a bowl of cold water.
Heat the cream, milk and sugar without boiling.
Add the drained gelatin. To mix together.
Pour a small amount over the chocolate chunks. Mix well.
Add the rest gradually, while mixing.
Divide the panna cotta into 6 small ramekins.
Let cool for a few hours.
Serve with a little passion fruit pulp on top.
To finish: the panna cotta recipe is normally with just cream. You can totally do that. But replacing part of the cream with milk makes it lighter.
Preferably choose a good chocolate.
