Granola Tarts for Breakfast

Homemade granola… A must for breakfast!
I prefer it with yogurt. And also, of course, with fresh fruit and honey. I couldn’t get enough of it.
And then, in the end, it doesn’t take much to change everything, and reinvent breakfast. When I saw pretty granola tartlets on pinterest, I knew that I could only succumb. It’s so beautiful.

No surprise in terms of taste. It is exactly what is expected. As much as I kept my usual granola recipe. Just fill the tart molds with it. For a story of photos, I had chosen iron moulds. Yeah, it’s prettier than silicone, but on the other hand, it’s much less easy to unmold. I then tested with flexible molds, and it’s much simpler.

This presentation of the granola will be perfect for a brunch. But they can also be served as a light dessert or for a snack.

Granola Tarts for Breakfast:

150g rolled oats
2 tbsp grated coconut
2 tbsp applesauce
2 tbsp of honey
1 tbsp coconut oil

Preheat the oven to 170°C.

Slightly warm the coconut oil and possibly the honey by placing them in the microwave for a few seconds.

Mix all the ingredients, in order to have a wet texture.

Divide this preparation into 6 tartlet molds (preferably silicone), pressing down well with the back of a spoon.
Bake for approximately 20 minutes. They should be golden brown.
Let cool completely before unmolding.

Serve with Greek yogurt, fresh fruit and a drizzle of honey.

To finish: I flavored my tartlets with coconut. You can also use other seeds such as sesame, maple syrup instead of honey, other oils. You can also flavor with a little cinnamon…
