Banana bread is a delicious cake, not very rich, that I love to prepare and enjoy. There is nothing simpler and faster to do. And every time it’s a treat. I regularly prepare a classic banana bread. I add nuts or chocolate chips to it. I like it hot, spread with butter. What a pleasure for breakfast!
I had never tried to prepare an all-chocolate version before. And I wonder why, because it’s really very greedy. The marriage of chocolate and banana is always a success. The taste of the banana is present, the texture perfectly soft.
It is a cake that is both good and healthy.
To make the preparation of this banana bread even easier and faster, I used a robot, the new kid in my kitchen. It’s about KitchenAid food processor 1.19 l. We no longer present the brand KitchenAid. So, I was delighted to be contacted for a partnership.

He serves me every day to chop the onions, has already prepared me a delicious guacamole, a peanut sauce, pesto…
And also this banana bread. Just put the banana in pieces, an egg, the brown sugar and the oil in the bowl and mix for a few seconds. We mix all that with the other dry ingredients, a few chocolate chips, and bake. It’s so easy!
So, if you have very ripe bananas, do not hesitate to prepare this delicious banana bread. It will be perfect both for breakfast and for a snack.
Express Chocolate Banana Bread:
225 g very ripe bananas (3 small)
55g sunflower oil
60 g of vergeoise (brown)
110 g T45 flour
25g bitter cocoa
1 level tsp baking soda
1 pinch of salt
100g chocolate chips
Preheat the oven to 170°C.
In the bowl of the mixer, put the bananas in pieces, the egg, the oil and the sugar.
In a bowl, mix the flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt.
Add the previous mixture and the chocolate chips. Mix without insisting too much.
Pour into a greased pan and bake for 35/40 minutes.
Allow to cool slightly before unmolding.
Well wrapped, this cake will keep for a few days without any problem.
To finish: this robot also makes it possible to emulsify sauces or even whip egg whites. But, I haven’t tried it yet. I’ll tell you about it next time.
